Early Friday morning, in Sunrise, Florida, wide reciever Robby Anderson was arrested for the second time this year. He has been brought up on multiple felony charges, according to NFL.com.
Anderson was caught 105 mph in a 45 mph zone. As the cops tried to pull him over, he refused to stop, causing them to chase him with their lights and sirens blaring. Eventually Anderson did pull over, but refused to comply with the officers, while threatening sexual assault on one officers’ wife.
“We are aware of the situation,” a Jets spokesman said. “This is a pending legal matter and we will have no further comment.”
Anderson was arrested at 2:15 a.m. ET and taken to Broward County Jail. He was then released from jail Friday afternoon.
